Field Day Church App
Effective Date: April 20, 2026
Last Updated: April 20, 2026

Field Day Apps, LLC (โ€œField Day,โ€ โ€œwe,โ€ โ€œus,โ€ or โ€œourโ€) provides the Field Day Church App and related services (the โ€œAppโ€ or โ€œServicesโ€). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the App.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Appleโ€™s App Privacy disclosures for several Field Day Apps, LLC apps indicate collection of contact info including name, email address, and phone number, along with identifiers and location data linked to a userโ€™s identity.

B. Account and Authentication Information

If you create an account or sign in, we may collect:

  • Login credentials or authentication identifiers
  • Password-related data managed through our authentication providers
  • Account preferences and settings
  • Internal user IDs or similar identifiers

C. Church or Organization Data

If the App is used on behalf of or in connection with a church or ministry, we may process information associated with your participation in that organization, such as:

  • Campus or ministry selections

If you enable notifications, we may collect or use device tokens or similar identifiers needed to send push notifications.

F. Giving and Payment Information

If the App includes giving or donation-related features, payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider. We generally do not store full payment card details ourselves unless explicitly stated in a separate notice. We may receive limited transaction-related information such as confirmation, status, date, or amount.

G. User Content

We may collect content you upload, submit, or share through the App, including:

  • Profile photos
  • Messages
  • Comments
  • Prayer requests

  • Other community-submitted content

H. Optional Permissions

Depending on your device and how the App is configured, we may request access to features such as:

  • Camera
  • Photos/media library
  • Microphone
  • Contacts
  • Approximate location

You can usually manage permissions through your device settings.

2. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the App
  • Create and manage accounts
  • Authenticate users
  • Personalize content and user experience
  • Display sermons, events, media, Bible content, and other church resources
  • Process registrations, form submissions, and requests
  • Enable community features such as comments, messaging, or prayer sharing
  • Send notifications, alerts, updates, and reminders
  • Provide customer support
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and protect the security of the App
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and other policies

3. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

A. With Churches, Ministries, or Organizations

If the App is operated for or in partnership with a church, ministry, or related organization, we may share relevant user information with that organization as needed to provide the Services.

B. With Service Providers

We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate the App, such as:

  • Cloud hosting and database providers
  • Authentication providers
  • Analytics or crash-reporting providers
  • Customer support tools
  • Messaging and push notification providers

  • Video and media hosting providers

C. User-Directed Sharing

If you choose to post content publicly or share content with others through community features, that information may be visible to other users or organization administrators.

D. Legal Compliance and Protection

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
  • Enforce our agreements
  • Detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues
  • Protect the rights, safety, and property of Field Day, users, or others

E. Business Transfers

We may transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.

4. Analytics and Tracking

We may use analytics and diagnostic tools to understand how users interact with the App, improve performance, detect bugs, and enhance user experience.

Depending on the Appโ€™s configuration, these tools may collect information such as usage events, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, and crash data. Apple requires developers to disclose privacy practices for App Store listings, and Field Day Apps, LLC app listings currently disclose data linked to users including location, contact info, and identifiers.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the Services
  • Maintain accounts
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce agreements
  • Support legitimate operational and security needs

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to or limit certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Opt out of certain communications

You may also:

  • Update account information in the App, where available
  • Disable push notifications in your device settings
  • Adjust device permissions such as camera, photos, contacts, or location access

To make a privacy request, contact us at: hey@fieldday.church. Field Day publicly lists this address on its website.

7. Community Features and Sensitive Content

The App may allow users to submit prayer requests, comments, messages, or similar community content. Please do not submit highly sensitive personal information unless you are comfortable doing so and the feature clearly supports that purpose.

If you choose to share content in public or group-facing areas of the App, that content may be visible to others, including church staff, leaders, moderators, or other users depending on the feature.

8. Childrenโ€™s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 without appropriate parental, church, school, or organizational authorization where required by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us at hey@fieldday.church.

I chose this wording because Field Day apps shown publicly on the App Store are rated 4+, but age ratings alone do not replace COPPA-style compliance obligations.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may link to or integrate with third-party services, websites, video platforms, donation platforms, Bible tools, messaging tools, embedded media, and infrastructure providers. Depending on the deployment, these may include cloud database providers, notification providers, payment processors, video or streaming platforms, and embedded external content providers. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third parties. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.

11. International Users

If you access the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the App, by email, or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

13. Contact Us

  • Accept responsibility for activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are inaccurate, insecure, fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
  • Harass, threaten, defame, abuse, or intimidate others
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or disruptive content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the App

5. User Content

You may be able to submit, post, upload, or share content through the App (โ€œUser Contentโ€), including comments, messages, photos, event responses, and prayer requests.

You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it through the App, you grant Field Day and the applicable church or organization a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, modify as needed for formatting, and use that content solely to operate, provide, improve, and support the App and related services.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have permission to submit the User Content
  • Your User Content does not violate any law or third-party rights
  • Your User Content is not false, misleading, abusive, obscene, or harmful

We may remove or restrict User Content at our discretion if we believe it violates these Terms or creates risk for users or the platform.

6. Community Standards

Because the App may include church and community features, users are expected to engage respectfully. We may moderate, remove, or restrict content or access that we believe is:

  • Offensive or abusive
  • Hateful or discriminatory
  • Sexually explicit
  • Violent or threatening
  • Misleading or deceptive
  • Invasive of privacy
  • Disruptive to the community or intended use of the App

7. Donations and Third-Party Transactions

The App may include links to giving, donations, registrations, or other transactions handled by third parties. Field Day is not a bank, payment processor, or merchant of record unless explicitly stated otherwise.

We are not responsible for third-party payment systems, donation processing, refunds, transaction errors, or third-party terms. Any such transactions may be governed by separate terms and policies.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, interfaces, and other content provided by Field Day, is owned by or licensed to Field Day and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted, you may not:

  • Copy
  • Reproduce
  • Modify
  • Distribute
  • Reverse engineer
  • Create derivative works from
  • Publicly display or exploit

any part of the App without prior written permission.

Church names, logos, sermons, media, and ministry content available through the App may be owned by the applicable church or other rights holders.

9. App Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Field Day publicly operates through fieldday.team and markets church apps under the Field Day name, but specific features and configurations vary by app and church deployment.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We suspect misuse, fraud, or abuse
  • Continued access creates legal or security risk
  • The church or organization administering your access requests removal
  • We discontinue the App or relevant services

Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED โ€œAS ISโ€ AND โ€œAS AVAILABLEโ€ WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will meet your expectations
  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Content will always be accurate or complete

Content made available through churches or other organizations is provided for informational, spiritual, or community purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical, mental health, or counseling advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Field Day and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the App.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

  • The amount you paid us, if any, for use of the App in the 12 months before the claim, or
  • $100 USD

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Field Day and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, expenses, and fees arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your User Content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law or third-party rights

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Osceola County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

I used Florida and Osceola County because the public App Store trader details for Field Day Apps, LLC list a Kissimmee, Florida mailing address.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the App, by email, or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
